1955-2015
Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, with his family by his side of Lloyd Joseph Doucette, of Skinners Pond, age 60 years. Born at Alberton, on April 3, 1955, he was the son of Lydia (nee DesRoches) of Tignish, and the late Austin Doucette. Dear brother to Elaine (Edward) Doucette of Tignish; Hazel (Clayton) Perry of DeBlois; Eddie Doucette (Sally) of Skinners Pond; Nancy Doucette of Tignish. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, Earl Gavin of Tignish and Bill Pether of Toronto. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by sisters, Joanie Gavin and Lynda Pether. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where the funeral will be held on Thursday, at 9 p.m. Visiting hours Thursday 7 p.m. until time of service. If so desired, memorials to the Western Hospital Palliative Care unit would be gratefully appreciated.
