It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Joey Pyke on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, he was a son of the late Alex and Pat (Georgette) Pyke.
He is survived by his siblings David (Linda), Ernie (Debbie), Cathy (Bob) Bisson and Darren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Edmond.
There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place under the care of Curry's Glace Bay Funeral Home, 775 Main St. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. at St Anne’s Church. The Rev Leo Boone will be officiating. The interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
