Phillips, Annabell
Surrounded by her family Annabell Phillips passed away peacefully on Friday October 2, 2015 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born April 14, 1946 in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Karl and Zeita Georgsen. Annabell spent 50 years dedicating her life to nursing at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Ridgewood Veterans Wing and Centracare. She was an avid volunteer in Boy Scouts, synchronized swimming and Girl Guides. For many years she was the President of Synchro N.B. traveling around Canada. Annabell will be sadly missed by loving husband of 45 years Richard Phillips; sons Michael Phillips and Jeffery (Jessica) Phillips both of Saint John, NB; daughter Melissa (Tom Black) of Saint John, NB; and four grandchildren Aidan, Colin, Neil and Miranda. Besides her parents Annabell was predeceased by brother Karlyman.
Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Keeping with Annabell’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Donations in Annabell’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society.
