It is with great sadness that the family of Gregory Charles Dean Perron, age 41, of Swift Current, SK passed away September 29, 2015 at the Palliser Regional Care Centre with his family by his side. The Memorial Service was held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 3, 2015 from St. Anne's Catholic Church, Lac Pelletier, SK with Father Richard Jasiak M.S.F. officiating. The organist was Joanne Monette. Psalmist was Peggy Marshall. Readers were Yvonne and Eugene Suchoboki. The Ushers were Chris Elias and Ryan Perron. Honorary Pallbearers were all who shared in his life. The Interment Service was held at St. Anne's Cemetery. Greg is survived by his parents Lea and Andre; his children Wyatt and Kayla; brother Michael (Tracy) and their children MacKenzie and Tristan; brother Stephan. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles and cousins to cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Victory and Irene Perron; maternal grandparents Peter and Marie Elias; aunts Pauline Laverdiere, Lucille Knittig, Maryann Rhoda and Yvette Hammer; uncles George and Marcel Perron. Greg was born in Medicine Hat, AB. on September 15, 1974. He attended school at St. Joseph's School, Waldeck School and Swift Current Comprehensive High School. Greg worked for the Ford body shop, Minute Muffler in Moose Jaw, Canadian Tire, UFR and Spar. As a young man Greg was involved in Boy Scouts, Air Cadets and was an Alter Server for many years at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Greg loved to hunt, fish and play pool. He loved to spend time with family and attending family reunions. He also enjoyed working on his vehicles and drag racing. He fought a tough battle with M.S. since being diagnosed in 2007. The last eight years saw Greg fight to maintain his independence as long as he could. In June of 2010, he obtained his diploma for Visual Publishing and Web Design, which he put to use making posters at the Palliser. In Greg's memory, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Saskatchewan Chapter, 150 Albert St., Regina, Saskatchewan, S4R 2N2 Greg will be sadly and truly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friend.
