EDWARDS, AVIS
Avis Marie Edwards (nee Hartsgrove), 87, passed away on October 3, 2015 at the Moncton Hospital.
Avis is survived by sons, Fred Stoddard, Dave Stoddard, Brent Edwards; daughters, Darlene Stoddard, Dawn Edwards, Cheryl Rooney, Krista Girard; sister, Corena Brown; aunt, Sharon Hartsgrove; 28 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by children, Gary, Michael and Sheila; parents, Eutrope and Pearl Landry; sisters, Yvonne Hughes, Helena Landry, Laviana Archer, Doreen Landry, Marlene Callaghan, Cecilia O’Donnell, May Ilene Landry and Cheryl Dawn Landry; brothers, Eutrope Junior Landry, Edmond, James, Clarence; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A legacy of giving service to her community since 1947, she will be missed. A ceremony for family and friends will be held at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #6 (War Veterans Ave, Moncton, NB) on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. As per her wishes, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.
