MacKENZIE, Marion Jeanette, 99, Lockeport, (born March 18, 1916) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in Roseway Hospital with her family by her side. Marion cherished visits and time spent with friends who will surely miss her good sense of humor, wit and charm. She is survived by and will be sadly missed by daughter, Wanda MacIntosh; brother Manual Lowe, Ontario; 5 grandchildren, Patti, Jeffrey, Beverly, Eddi and Courtney; 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Chesley MacKenzie; baby daughter, Marlyn and sister, Hazel Wentzell, Liverpool. Visitation will be Friday, October 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10 at 2pm in Holy Cross Anglican Church, Lockeport with Rev. Doug Chard officiating. Interment in Lockeport Cemetery. Memorial donations may be sent to Canadian Cancer Society or Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation.
