Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, October 8, 2015 Patricia (Pat) McGrath age 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Dr. John McGrath, parents Dolores and Valentine Heap, brother Hugh, brother-in-law Brian McGrath and sister-in-law Nadine Heap. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters Andrée Pratt (Ned), Denyse Janes (Rob), Kirsteen Croucher (Kent), Alberta and stepson Ian McGrath (Sandra), Northern Ireland, her wonderful grandchildren Kaelan and Kieran Croucher, Sunita and Kelli Janes, Jacob and Claire Pratt, and Simon McGrath (Lauren) and Nikki McGrath (Ash), brother Charles, England; sister Ann Hindle (Stan), Wales and sisters-in-law Joyce McGrath, Marion Heap, Australia; a large circle of nieces, nephews and cousins, a large circle of friends, and close friend and neighbour Bette Duggan. Visitation to celebrate Pat's life will be held at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday, October 11th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 12 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
