WILLISTON, D. CRAIG
D. Craig Williston, 54, of Moncton, with his loving family at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, October 12, 2015. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Rhona (Gulliver) and the late Herbert Williston.
Craig was an Operations Supervisor at NB Power with over 34 years’ service and a member of St. Philip’s Anglican Church. He was a member of the NB Sports Hall of Fame (Campbellton Tigers 1987 - 1988 Hardy Cup Champions), coached ringette, assistant hockey coach, was an outdoor enthusiast who loved working his chainsaw, and spending time with his family, especially following Megan and Christopher’s sporting endeavours.
In addition to his mother, Rhona, Craig will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 18 years, Monique (Gaudet) of Moncton; cherished children, Megan and Christopher Williston; sister, Beth Wynter (Andrew) of Moncton; brother, Harold Williston (Donnalee) of Truro, NS; nieces, Olivia Wynter and Aly and Brooke Williston; nephew, Alex Wynter; father-in-law, Pete Gaudet; several extended family members.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate Craig’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 am with The Rev’d Douglas Painter officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
