It is with great sadness that the family of Ambrose John (Jack) Reid announces his passing on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 at the Health Science Centre in St. John's, NL, at the age of 76. Jack will be dearly missed by Myra, his wife of 54 years, his children: Ken (Lisa), Sharon, Sandra (Selby) Pearce, Jackie (Keith) Raike, Cory (Sheri-Lynn), Gary (Connie) and Terri (Jody) Janes, and his grandchildren: Reanna, Calli, Nikki, Dale, Alycia, Travis, Natasha, Heather, Samantha, Timothy, Allan, Curtis, Sandi, Devon, Samantha, Tyson and Daniel, as well as 9 great-grandchildren. Jack will also be fondly remembered by a large circle of friends and other relatives. Jack has been predeceased by his parents John and Violet Reid, and his siblings: Joyce, Sadie, Ron and Gary. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL on Sunday October 18th, 2015, from 7-9 pm. On Monday, October 19th, from 10am to noon at the Pentecostal Church in Howley where also the funeral service will be held, at 2 pm, with Pastor: Peter Grimes officiating with the burial will follow at the family plot in Howley.
