EVANS, MAUREEN DOROTHY
Maureen D. Evans, 69, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Born in Portsmouth, England, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Vera (Ramsbotton) Perkins.
Maureen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Volunteer for Victim Services for 15 years and Help 24. Her hobbies included knitting, music and reading; but first and foremost was spending precious time with her family.
Maureen will be sadly missed by her husband of 49 years, Peter Evans; daughters, Julie Janiuk (Geoff) of Barrie, ON and Joanne VanBuskirk (Todd) of Grafton; precious grandchildren, Jack Janiuk and Molly VanBuskirk; several relatives residing in England.
In keeping with Maureen’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) in care of arrangements.
In memory of Maureen, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
