It is with great sadness and fond memories that we announce the sudden passing of our loving father, Francis Wall on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015.
Born in Sydney on Nov. 10, 1962, he was a beloved son of the late Douglas and Catherine 'Katie' (Walker) Wall.
Francis was a proud father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a family man, whose warm, gentle personality touched all who knew him. Francis loved and lived to spend time with his pride and joy, his three children, Michelle, Dougie and Stephanie, along with his seven grandchildren, whom he adored. He was a hard working man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Those who had the pleasure to know Francis, knew him as a true friend, especially his nephew, Robbie, niece, Anita and good friend Troy. They can attest to his happy, funny, kind, great nature, for which he will be fondly remembered.
Francis is survived by his three children, Dougie Wall (Melissa), Michelle Wall (Stephen) and Stephanie Wall-Harris (Nick); four grandsons, Stephen, Shaun, Dougie and Nick; three granddaughters, Summer, Chloe and MacKenzie; lifelong friend and mother of his children, Leanne MacSween; four brothers, Doug Wall (Beatrice), Greg Wall (Pat), James Wall (Kim) and Ronnie Wall (Brenda); five sisters, Arlene Fogarty (John), Donalda Wall, Claudia Weatherbee (Rob), Ann Fogarty (Ron) and his baby sister, Karen Wall (Steve).
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Church on Thursday 10 a.m., with Rev. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Frenchvale.
