Age 65, passed away from a brief illness on October 19th, 2015 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, in the arms of his loving wife and best friend of 43 years, Maggie, and his only child and sunshine of his life, his daughter Tonya. With extra special love from his 4-legged companion, Maui. Predeceased by his father Michael and mother Helen (Nellie). Leaving behind to mourn his sisters, Gertrude (Eric), Barbara (Leo) and brothers Michael and Eddy (Judy). Sister-in-laws Hazel (Norm), Letsie (Eric), Kay (Kevin), and brother-in-laws, Beaton and Kevin (Marina). Special mentions to his very best friends Johnny Williams and Linda Carey and to Megan Lane, who he considered like a second daughter. As well as all his special and dear nieces, nephews and friends and his coworkers at the Canadian Coast Guard Lightkeepers. Special thanks to the staff of 7th Floor East, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Cremation has already taken place and visitation is as follows: Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. on Thursday October 22, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral to follow on Friday, October 23, 2015 at St. Teresa's Church on Mundy Pond Road at 11am. Donations in lieu of flowers accepted in his memory to the SPCA.
