(nee Newman) Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on March 27th, 2008, of Fox Harbour, in her 79th year. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, mother and father Vincent and Mary Jane Newman. Sisters Pauline and Angela, brothers Vincent, Michael, Joseph and Jack. Leaving to mourn sons John (Gladys), Joseph (Cece), daughter Shelia (Bill), six grandchildren Leon, Arlene, Shannon, Caitlin, Jorden and Jillian; two great-grandchildren Amelia and Zoie. Sisters Mary, Veronica, Elizabeth, Imelda, and Margaret; special friend Theresa Murphy, a large family of nephews, nieces and friends. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Saturday, March 29, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Funeral mass to take place 2 p.m. on Monday, March 31, in Fox harbour.
