(85) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Born Jan 14, 1930, in Victoria, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mildred MacEachern.
She is survived by her daughter Lorna MacPhail, dear sister-in-law Bonnie MacEachern, beloved MacEachern nieces and nephews from P.E.I., Aunt Marion, grandnieces, grandnephews, friends and family. She was predeceased by her brother James MacEachern.
She worked for many years at Maritime Canvas and then retired from the Halifax Furniture Clinic.
Special thanks to the staff at St. Vincent's Guest Home who made the last years of her life comfortable as well as Kimberley and Louise for being with her as she made her transition.
Adele will return home to her cherished Island. Visitation will take place at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 23, 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Argyle Shore Cemetery following a reception.
