HAYWARD, RITA MARIE
It is with sadness that the family of Rita Hayward of Fredericton, NB, formerly of Perth, NB and New Milford, CT, announces her death at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, October 20th, 2015. Rita was born in East Lake, QC, on September 3rd, 1928 to the late Earl and Julia (Ouellette) Dionne.
Rita leaves behind her children, John Hayward (Kathleen) of Annapolis, MD and Tammie Hayward of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Nicole Hayward of New York, NY and Brian Hayward of New Milford, CT; brothers, William Dionne (Barbara) of Ottawa, ON, Lewis Dionne (Betty) Arthurette, NB, and Robert Dionne of Rothesay, NB; sisters, BettyAnn McMackin of Fredericton, NB, and Theresa LaBreche of Saskatoon, SK; as well as several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.
In addition to her parents, Rita was predeceased by her husbands, Dow H. Hayward and John McAloon; brothers, Alex, Leo, and Ronnie Dionne; sisters, Emily Johnston and Adeline Dionne.
There will be no visitation. A private family celebration of Rita's life will be held in Perth-Andover, NB, at a later date.
