Passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015, Paul Ryan aged 93 years, beloved son of Martin Ryan and Edith Bavis Ryan of Little Paradise, P.B. Predeceased by his siblings Mary Maynard (Francis), Denis (Joan Carroll), Sister Margaret, PBVM, Agatha (Gordon Starrett), Martin, Bernadette, Rosemary and Leonard. Paul is survived by his brother Dermot and sister-in-law Stella White Ryan and their children Barry, Sharon and Scott. Also grieving his loss are nieces and nephews Maureen Maynard, Joseph Maynard (Carol March), Deedy (David d'Entremont), Francis Maynard (Shelley Benson), Agnes Maynard and James Maynard. Paul was dearly loved by his extended family in NL and across Canada, in particular Mary Ward and her family, the Brennan, Dray, Hickey, Houlihan, Martha Ward, and Whyte families. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist, Military Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the Gathering Place.
