Passed suddenly away at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at age 71. Predeceased by her parents Angus and Annie May Pretty; brothers: Raymond and William; and sisters: Irene and Sandra. Leaving to mourn her husband Irving; son John (Michelle); daughter Sandra Tizzard (Jason); grandchildren: Kristin, Gillian, Timothy, Tamara, and Tanner; sisters: Dorothy Janes (Ron), Shirley Pretty (Joe), Phyllis Peddle (Ron), and Anne Hutchings (Al); brothers-in-law: Milton Hiscock (Irene - deceased), Randy Voth (Sandra - deceased), William Elliott (Kathleen), and Ed Elliott (Gloria); sisters-in-law: Cecicly Pretty (Raymond - deceased), Cecicly Pretty (William - deceased), Alma Elliott (Warren), Shirley Manning, Elaine Sullivan (Frank), and Christine Walton (Jon); also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including camping buddies. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Monday, October 26th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm; on Tuesday, October 27th, from 2-6 pm; and on Wednesday, October 27th, from 12-2 pm. Memorial service to be held at Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, October 28th, at 2 pm. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
