John Lawrence 'Larry' Burton

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of John 'Larry' Burton on Oct. 23, 2015 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Raised in Bay St. Lawrence, he was the son of the late Catherine and Allen Burton.
John was a very kind man, loved to fish and hunt, as well as spending time looking at the ocean.
He is survived by his wife Margaret (MacMullin); sisters, Mary, Colette; brothers, Billy, Peter, Lloyd and George; brothers-in-law, Billy (Barbara) and Danny (Rosalie) MacMullin.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Edward in infancy.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015 at 7-9 p.m. and a chapel
service Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.
