The death occurred on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Community Hospital, O'Leary, of John Edward Mitchell of Whycocomagh, N.S., formerly of Eskasoni, Cape Breton, aged 64. Born in Charlottetown on April 26, 1951, son of the late John P and Florence (Mitchell) Labobe. Survived by his daughter Lucy, grandson Andrew, mother of his daughter Lucy (Sark) Mitchell and by sisters Margaret Labobe, Charlottetown; Charlotte (Richard) Morris, Birch Hill; and brother Harry Labobe, Lennox Island. Forwarded from Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel on Tuesday morning to the home of Wendell and Cathy Bernard, 217 Eagle Feather Trail, Lennox Island, for visiting hours on Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until 10 a.m., then to St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Lennox Island, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. www.fergusonsfh.com
