RYER, Muriel Regina, 82, Roseway Manor, Sandy Point, passed away in the Manor on Sunday, October 25, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born on Morris Island she was a daughter of the late Edward Moulaison and Regina Amirault. Muriel was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed walking and taking part in the Port Clyde Firettes. She was a devotee of the Roman Catholic Church and an avid volunteer in her community. Muriel was of Acadian descent. She is survived by sons, Danny (Michelle); Shawn (Sally); daughters, Jane (Gordon); Kathy (Britton); sister, Virginia; grandchildren, Scott, Kelly, Emma, Hannah, Lydia, Steven, Andrew, Taylor, Logan, Sarah and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Taya as well as several nieces and nephews. Muriel was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; step-father, George; brother, Edward; sisters, Agnes, Rose and Viola. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson`s Funeral Home, Shelburne. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30 at 2 pm in St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church with Father Keith Billard officiating. Burial in St. Matthews Cemetery, Clyde River. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Roseway Manor.
