WARNER, OLIVE MARIE
It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Olive Marie Warner of Saint John who passed away at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Tuesday October 27, 2015. Born on April 12, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Lenihan) MacKenzie.
Olive was a devoted wife, mother, nanny, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an amazing cook, self-taught carpenter, electrician and gardener. Those who knew her will miss her forever.
Olive is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Winston Warner Sr. of Saint John; sons Brian (Dianne) of Saint John and Bobby of Montreal; daughters Eleanor Sears (Garnet) of Belleisle, Debra Adey (John) of Leduc, AB and Dianne LeBlanc (David) of Bloomfield; brothers Ernie MacKenzie (Doris) and Raymond MacKenzie (Janet) and sister Barbara Hachey all of Saint John; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Olive was predeceased by her son Winston Warner Jr., grandson Josh LeBlanc and brothers William and Charles MacKenzie.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road with visitation on Thursday, October 29th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 30th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Fernhill Cemetery.
