Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Health Centre, Old Perlican, on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, Berkley Sutton of Bay de Verde, aged 78 years. Predeceased by parents Charles and Violet, brothers Jim and Les, sister Jean. Leaving to mourn wife of 49 years Ruth; children Valerie (Melvin) Coish, Bay de Verde; Lindsay (Lois) Sutton, Hammonds Plains, NS; Jeanie (Joseph) Dalton, St. John's and Cindy Sutton (Andrew Barker), Paradise; six grandchildren Robyn, Stacey, Crystal, Courtney, Cody and Liam; two sisters Ida Sutton, Bay de Verde and Isabel (Ronald) Gosse, Keswick, ON; sister-in-law Bernice Sutton, Mississauga, ON; also, a large number of other relatives and friends. Rev. Howard Crane conducted the Funeral Service on Friday, March 28, 2008 from St. Barnabas Anglican Church and Cemetery, Bay de Verde. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Hopkins Funeral Homes, Old Perlican.
