ALLEN, NORMAN AUBREY
1944 - 2015
Norman Aubrey Allen, 71, of Hopewell Hill, passed away peacefully on October 29th, 2015 at the Moncton Hospital. Norman was born In Moncton on July 28th, 1944 the son of the late Elmer and Mildred (Nickerson) Allen.
He was a jack of all trades, but most of all loved being outdoors and in nature. Having worked in the woods, with Mary Majka giving tours around Mary's Point, with Claude Dixon at the Shepody Pheasant Reserve and last working with the Dept. of Agriculture. He also loved fishing. Norman also had a talent of woodworking have made many items for his family and friends. He also loved driving around Albert County and the surrounding areas, this was his favorite time of year to see all the beautiful trails and all the leaves changing color. In the past few years he really treasured times spent with his family and friends. His family meant the world to him and he felt blessed to have all their support. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor as he always loved to joke around and have a good laugh. He would want you to remember the good times you had together and smile when you think of him. " What we keep in memory is ours forever"
He will be deeply missed by his best friend and wife, Leona; daughter, Tina Allen (Mark) of Hopewell Hill; his cherished grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sierra and Jacob; sisters, Joyce Kennie of New Horton and Gloria Dobson (Leroy) of Dieppe; brother, Sherman Allen (Doreen) of Edgett's Landing. He will also be missed by several nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a granddaughter, Carissa and brother-in-law, Carl Kennie.
Honoring Norman's own wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, NB at a later date.
