Born in Twillingate, NL, Lily passed away peacefully at home in Oakwood Terrace, Dartmouth, NS. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children - Earl (Barb), Elaine (John), Harvey (Martha), Doreen; sisters - Marjorie Hopkins, Jessie (Don) Oldford; brother Don (Jean) Anstey; grandchildren - Rob (Marie), Stephen (Bee), Julie (Matthew), Ryan, Mark (Kerri), Laura; great-grandchildren - Tanner, Braelyn, Jakob, Anya, Kaylee, Alice, Suzanna. Predeceased by her husband, Hector, in 1983; brother - Clifford Anstey; father and mother - Arthur & Phoebe Anstey. Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of Oakwood Terrace for their passionate love and care over the past 4 years. Visitation at Country Haven Funeral Home will be 7-9:00 PM, Thursday, November 5. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 6, at Oakland United Church on Forestside Street with internment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
