HOPE, ELSIE
Elsie Hope of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on October 31, 2015 at the age of 90. Born in London, England, February 3, 1925.
Elsie will be lovingly missed by her son Phillip (Bonnie) Duffy, daughters; Susan (Bill Oakley) LeBlanc and Kathy (Robert) Richard. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; Shawna, Jasen, Rachel, Everett, Troy, Cindy, Teena, Robyn, Sarah, thirteen great-grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
Aside from her parents, Elsie was predeceased by her husband Spurgeon “Rocky” Hope, sons; Larry Duffy, Doug Duffy and her brothers and sisters in England.
Elsie retired from Canada Post with 25+ years of service.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations in Elsie’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
