In loving memory of Cornelius 'Connie' Browner, who passed at the Health Science North on Oct. 29, 2015 in Sudbury, Ont.
Connie was born in 1934 to the late Joseph and Anne Margaret (McNeil) Browner in Glace Bay. He resided in Dominion, C.B. and worked in the colleries in Glace Bay and New Waterford before taking up residence in Sudbury, Ont.
He is survived by his wife, Ericia; son, Stanley Halloway-his wife Lillian and family; his sons, Stephen Browner in Glace Bay and Bernie Browner in Nfld.; sisters, Mary Gouthro, Reserve Mines, Camilla Peck, Sydney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Alex, Myles, Ignatius 'Iggy', Connie in infancy; sisters, Sadie Hines, Katie Burke, Regis Winstanley; stepdaughter, Monica Halloway; Jean (McNeil) Browner.
Keeping with Connie's wishes, cremation has taken place in Sudbury with family services at a later date.
The Browner family would like to sincerely thank the hospital staff and Stanley Halloway for the caring and compassion given to Connie during his illness.
