Passed peacefully away on November 5, 2015 at Eastern Health Long-term Care Facility. Theresa Houlihan (nee Walsh) formerly of Little Bona, Placenta Bay. Aged 86 years. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Catherine Walsh (nee Power); sister Mary Dray; brothers Patrick and Joseph Walsh. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 62 years Gerald; children Geraldine McCann (Cyril), Madonna Kielty (Phillip), Carol Ann Morris (Cyril), Barbara, Gerard (Sandra) Cynthia Dunn (Michael), Darryl (Cynthia), Teresita Lane; 16 loving grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn her special friend and sister Martha Ward; brother Michael Walsh (Patricia) as well as an extended family of nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed be her winter shovelling buddies. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home LeMarchant Road on Saturday November 7 and Sunday November 8 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Monday November 9, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.
