It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sheila Mary Young announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her loving husband Gerald (Gerry) of 53 years; daughters: Vickie Young (Fisher), Corner Brook and Kelly Young Bartlett (Bill), St. Albert, AB; sons: Jeff, St. John's, Terry (Billie), Summerside, and Robert (Jeanie), Corner Brook; three grandchildren: Lee Ann (Murray Hancock) of Summerside, Nickolas (Taylor Brake) of Summerside, Lucas (Samantha) of Hamilton Ontario, one great-grandchild: Carter Young who was the light of nannie Sheila's eyes, brother: Basil Donahue (Vivian) of Corner Brook, sisters-in-law: Marie Donahue of Halfway Point, Gladys Compagion of Ontario, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Gerona Donahue, brothers: Shawn Donahue, Eric Compagion. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at The Most Holy Redeemer Church, Monday November 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Edwin Gale and Father Edward Terry officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church Fund.
