Glenn Hansen of Riverview passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, November 6, 2015. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Raymond and Mary Hansen.
Glenn was actively involved in both Riverview Minor Baseball and Basketball. He was a former President of the Riverview Kinsman Center and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Cathy (Lavoie) Hansen; daughter, Amy Hansen (Newel Leaman); son, Jason Hansen (Louise McClure); and two very special grandsons, Cameron and Connor, all of Riverview; brothers, Michael (Rose), Jeff; and sister, Beth (Robert) Waddell, all of Saint John; cherished mother-in-law, Mary Lavoie; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Glenn was predeceased by his father-in-law, Lionel.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A service celebrating Glenn’s life will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11:00 am with Father Phil Mulligan presiding. The interment will follow in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations made to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
