Sharon Delong

Delong, Sharon Arlene
Unexpectedly, on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, Sharon A. Delong, passed away at her residence. Born in Saint John, NB she is the daughter of Myrtle (Chambers) Chapman and the late Harold Chapman.
Sharon worked as a Service Representative Trainor at NBTel for 30 years until her early retirement in 2007. This gave her even more time to pursue her love of travel. Sharon’s first adventure was a Caribbean cruise and from then on, the bug was in her. She and her sister Shirley were so excited to take the trip of a lifetime in 2000 to Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii, to name a few places. Sharon was a fun loving “people person” with a talent for decorating. She also really enjoyed scrapbooking and in her younger days, she was a Beaver Leader. Sharon will be missed by so many.
In addition to her mother Myrtle, Sharon is survived by her only sister Shirley Newman; Niece Sue Henneberry; nephew John William Henneberry, Godchildren Andrew, Alex and Adam Hachey; “chosen sister” Lise Bonnevie.; life-long friend Peter Harding and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
