It is with broken hearts that the family of Hounsell Daniel Payne announces his peaceful passing with his family by his side at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL., on Friday, November 6th, 2015, at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Hughena Nee Bennett, his son: Shawn (Roxanne) of Ontario, his daughters: Vicki (Steve) of Ontario, Dawn (Stephen) of Alberta, & Charlene (Truman) of Ontario, his 5 grandchildren: Madison, Samantha (Tyler), Sophie, Hannah, & Kayla, his 2 great grandchildren: Brooklyn, & Erin, his brothers: Doug, Os (Doris), George (Vicki), & James (Cosette), his sisters: Minette (Gordon), Elaine (Donald), Frances (Craig), & Jane (John), his sisters-in-law: Flossie (Alex), Vivian (Lloyd), Ruby (Lloyd), & Gladys (Henry), he will be forever missed by his special buddies Max & Margaret House, Hounsell was predeceased by his parents: Roy & Dorcas nee Endicott, sister Betty, sisters-in-law: Judy, & Shirley brothers-in-law: George & Bernie, mother & father-in-law: Mary & Clyde Bennett. He will also be forever missed by his many nieces, & nephews, a large circle of friends & extended family. In keeping with Hounsell's wishes cremation has taken place & the family will be receiving family & friends at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Monday, November 9th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also a memorial service will take place on Tuesday, November 10th, 2015, at 2 pm with Rev: Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
