GIONET, THEOPHANE
1932 - 2015
It is with great sadness that the family of Théophane Gionet wishes to announce his death at the George Dumont Hospital. He left us in peace and tranquility, surrounded by his family, on November 7, 2015 at the age of 83. He was the loving husband of Anne-Marie Cormier of Memramcook for 59 years. Born in Bas-Caraquet, he was the son of the late Patrick Gionet and late Célestine Albert.
He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne (Mélanie) of Dieppe and four grandchildren, Makayla, Eric, Luc and Cayden. He also leaves in mourning, his sisters-in-law, Lorraine (late Albénie Gionet) of Toronto, Izelda (late Existe Gionet) of Bas-Caraquet, Annette (late Freddie Auffrey) of Dieppe, Dorilla (late Alfred Gautreau) of Moncton and several nieces and nephews.
His sister, Emma (late Henri Légère), sister-in-law, Bernice Cormier and his brother-in-law Roger Cormier have predeceased him.
In addition to being an exemplary father and husband, Théo was an accomplished worker. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of the word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday, November 10th, 2015 at 10 am.
