SIMPSON, FREDERICK ANDREW "ANDY"
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Andy Simpson announces his passing, which occurred on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was a son of the late Frederick and Jennie (Thomas) Simpson and loving partner to Wanda Cuthbert.
Andy was a proud life-long west sider who had a big heart and was always willing to help someone in need. He was a hard worker his whole life, and his talent and 40 years of experience shined through in his work quality. He started his own construction business, F.A. Simpson Contracting and several other successful businesses with his partner and brother, Doug. He was passionate about the work he did, and the people he surrounded himself with.
He will be missed by his girlfriend, Wanda Cuthbert and her children, Ian Cuthbert and Nicole Cuthbert (Matt); his granddaughter, Olivia, who was his pride and joy; his brother, Doug Simpson (Sharon Ann Eldridge); a niece, Brittany Cameron (Scott); a nephew Luke Simpson; a great nephew, Callan Cameron as well as a large extended family and many friends.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425) with visiting on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A celebration of Andy’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Church of the Good Shepherd, 668 Manawagonish Road, Saint John. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
For those who wish, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Saint John Regional Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family.
