It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of dear brother and father Kenneth James Short on Monday November 9th, at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre, age 47 years. Predeceased by parents Edward and Phyllis and brother Terry. Leaving to mourn his partner, Claudette; his daughter Amanda and her mother Donna; brother Edward (Connie); also his extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, November 11th and Thursday, November 12th. Funeral service will take place on Friday, November 13th, 2015 at 11 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel with inurnment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
