DUPLESSIE, JOSEPH DARRELL
November 13, 1947 - November 9, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Darrell Duplessie of Fredericton, NB, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 9, 2015. Born in Campbellton, NB, on November 13, 1947, Darrell was the son of Adelaide Duplassie (Doucet) of Fredericton and the late Bernard Duplassie of Fredericton.
Older brother to Douglas, Donna, and Ryan; uncle to Chantelle, Danielle, Dana, Joey, Christopher, Taylor, Ryan, Fionna, and Kira; and great uncle to Caitlyn, Miles, and Lindsay.
Darrell was predeceased by his father, Bernard Duplassie; his grandmother, Beatrice Doucet; his grandfather, Wilfred Doucet; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Darrell had a warm and sensitive demeanour, a stellar sense of humour, and a generous spirit. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
A private gathering for close friends and family will be held at the home of Adelaide Duplassie (Unit 34, 20 Trailside Lane in Fredericton) on November 22, 2015 — Open House from 2pm to 4pm.
