George Burton passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at the age of 78.
Loving son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Burton. Beloved husband of Anna Marie Burton (nee Marsh) for 59 wonderful years together. Devoted father of David Burton, Julie McCaulay (Ted), Donald Burton, Bonita Amorium (Carlos), and Georgina Burton. Proud grandfather of Christopher, Ashley, Joshua, Kristin, Emily, Nicholas, Sarah, Kayla, Emma, Casey and Melanie, and great-grandfather of Cole and Sander. Survived by his siblings, Joe, Alex, Keith, Terry, Esther, Yvonne, Debbie, Glenda, and Judy. Also missed by his many nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the BRIGHTON FUNERAL HOME 130 Main St., Brighton (613-475-2121) on Sunday, Nov. 15th from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Holy Angels Catholic Church on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at 11 a.m., Fr. Christopher Reynolds officiating. Cremation to follow.
