The countless acts of kindness shown during the recent illness and loss of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Thelma MacIntyre, will not be forgotten. We are grateful to the dedicated staff of 2 West, Northside General. A special thank you to the staff at the Cape Breton Cancer Centre, especially Dr. Ron MacCormick, for all you did-Thelma truly felt safe in your care. We were comforted by the heartfelt tribute at the funeral mass celebrated by Fr. James Oliver and Fr. J.J. MacDonald. We appreciated the choir's beautiful music, the C.W.L.'s honour guard, and the lovely reception lunch afterwards. The gestures of sympathy and support by those who visited, made charitable donations, sent sympathy or mass cards, gifts of food, and shared many fond memories of Thelma helped make a difficult time easier.
