REED, DR. MELVIN
Dr. Melvin Laverne Reed died on November 8, 2015 in South Carolina at the age of 84.
Dr. Reed is survived by his children, Marsha Andrejzchick (Bruce 1953- 1992) of South Carolina, Julie Rudolph (Dave) of South Africa, Joy McEwen (David) of NB, and Rhonda Reed of South Carolina, daughter-in-law Joan Reed and four grandchildren, Lori, Sam, Jared and Justin.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty Jean Oakes Reed (1931-2000) and his son Mark Reed (1957-2012).
He pastored at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Moncton for 37 years and founded Emmanuel Baptist Christian School then went to South Africa as a missionary.
A memorial is being scheduled for 1:00pm Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Moncton.
