Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, on November 15, 2015, at the Health Science Centre, Edna Mary Dobbin (nee Williams), of Gaskiers, St. Mary's Bay. Mom was born on January 22, 1931, to Charles and Elizabeth Williams. In 1952 she married the love of her life, Sam Dobbin and they went on to raise nine wonderful children. Mom is predeceased by her husband Sam (2007), granddaughter Angela, her parents; brothers and sisters: Charlie, Tom, Mike, Alice, Ellen, Mary Bridget, Monica and Hannah. Leaving to mourn and will be forever missed by her five sons: Wayne (Laurie), Mike (Shirlene), Larry (Shelagh), Cyril (Shannie) and Eddy (Pam); four daughters: Evelyn (Raymond) Kielly, Rita (John) Ryan, Sharon (Gerard) Ryan and Sheila (Michael) Bowen; grandchildren: Dennis, Holly, Jamie, Elaine, Jason, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Nicole, Loralie, Roxanne, Samantha, Andrew, Alicia, Alex, Liam, Jason, Terry, Michael and Randy, 27 great-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, especially her caregiver and constant "canasta foe", Jose and many other cherished relatives and friends, including her card playing buddies. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home, St. Mary's, on Monday, November 16, from 7 - 9pm and Tuesday, November 17, 10am - 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 18, at 10am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary's. Burial to follow.
