Joan passed away in her sleep and is now in a painless place with her loved ones.
Predeceased by her husband Bill. She is survived by sons Gary and Brent, daughter-in-law Alejandra, sisters Edna and Eunice and other distant relations.
Joan’s life began in Pipestone, Manitoba. She served as a trumpeter and operator as a WAC in Brandon. Bill and Joan met there and married after the war. They came to B.C. and eventually found Sechelt in their later years.
A kind soul, thought to be an angel by those who knew her.
