Sullivan, Charles “Chuck” Winston
The death of Chuck Sullivan of Upper Derby, NB and formerly of Saint John, beloved husband of Sue (Colepaugh) Sullivan occurred on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at his home. Born on July 25, 1941 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Charles and Sue (Miller) Sullivan.
Prior to his retirement, Chuck was employed with Fundy Honda as the parts manager and had worked a short time after his retirement at Kents. He was also a former member of the Shriners Motor Corps. Chuck loved cars and especially enjoyed watching drag racing. He will be sadly missed.
In addition to his wife, Sue, Chuck is also survived by his children, Laurel Doiron (Danny) of Saint John, Christine Onysty (Barrie) of Alberta and Jonathan Sullivan (Heather) of Saint John; brother, William "Bill" Sullivan (Anne) of Saint John; sister, Barb Foster (Carl) of Saint John; grandchildren, Amanda and Nicholas; one great-grandchild; step-children, Mike Ling (Joanne) and Stephen Ling both of Kennebecasis Valley, Darren Ling of British Colombia, Ian Manderville and James Manderville both of the Miramichi; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Chuck was also predeceased by his brother, Bob Sullivan.
As per Chuck’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held. However, relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service, which will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens, 715 Latimore Lake Road, Saint John on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are under the care and direction or Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
