Bella Haché (nee Jones)
1916 – 2015
It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the death of our dear mother, Bella Haché (nee Jones), 99, of Monarch Hall, Riverview, formerly of Bathurst, at the residence on Thursday, November 19, 2015. Born at Petite-Rivière-de-l’Ile, NB, she was the daughter of the late William Jones and Catherine Chiasson. She grew up in Lamèque, NB close to her place of birth.
She will be missed by her children, Jean Baptiste (Jacqueline) of Montreal, Adrien (Elizabeth) of Newtonville, ON, Annette (late Adrian Vickers) of Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, QC, Georgine (Eldred Savoie) and Denise (John Kennedy), both of Moncton, Roméo (Suzanne) of Québec and Michel of Vancouver. Bella had 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by a special family friend Catherine (Roy) Hentschel of Beresford. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roméo A. Haché (March 1990); son, Léon (May 2011); brothers, Léon, Thomas, Warren and Adélard; sister, Almida (Cowan).
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 854 Mountain Road, on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 10:30 am, with Rev. Jean-Guy Dallaire officiating. Reception in the Parish Hall following the Mass. Interment will be held in Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire Catholic Cemetery in Bathurst.
