1937 - 2015
Passed peacefully away at Placentia Health Centre on Saturday morning, November 21, 2015, in the presence of his loving family and neighbour, Leo Miller at the age of 78. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary Ann Miller and best friends Mike McGrath and John Whelan. Leaving to mourn his wife of 55 years Linda; six children Wayne (Juanita), Bev (Gary Cole), Carl, Ron (Debbie), Terri, and Denise (Michael O'Keefe); eight grandchildren Steven (Tara), Kendra, Samantha, C.J., Marie, Logan, Abby, and Katelyn; great-grandchild Matthew; brother Frank (Denise); mother-in-law Geniveve Murphy; as well as neighbours Pat and Joe Flynn, Nick and Genevive Careen, Brendan McHugh, John Kelly and Family, and the Patterson Family. Many thanks to the staff at the Placentia Health Centre for their kindness over the last two weeks. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home with visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday and Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial to take place 11 am on Wednesday, November 25th at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. Interment to follow at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast Placentia.
