THERIAULT, Sarah Marie – age 86, Lakeside Road, Hebron, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2015 in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 7, 1929 in Amirault’s Hill, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Saulnier) Muise, but was raised in Pinkney’s Point by her grandmother, Annie Clairmont. Sarah worked with Cosmos Imperial Mills/Dominion Textiles in Yarmouth for 37 years. She was a very talented quilter and was a very sociable lady who loved entertaining. She was also a devoted member of Saint Ambrose Cathedral parish in Yarmouth. She is survived by her loving daughters, Florence (Roy) Killam, Linda (Greg) Rose, both of Hebron; Lisa Theriault (Mike Lawson), North Chegoggin, and Sarah’s special friend, George Aymar. Also surviving are grandchildren, Elizabeth Killam (fiancée, Rob Sweeney), Allison Killam (Renette Melanson), Matthew (Fayleen) Killam, Crystal Rose (Stephen Joudrey), Christopher Rose (Ally Bourque) and Avery Smith (Kaitlyn Nickerson); great-grandchildren, Joshua, Nathan, Levi, Graydon, Simon, Julianna, Morgan, Isabelle, Courtney, Jocelyn and Carson, step-great granddaughter, Raylynn; a sister, Theresa Gordon, Tusket and a brother, Ted (Doreen) Muise, Marmora, ON. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, J. Albert Theriault, as well as by a brother, Leonard Muise and a sister, Adeline Doucette. Visitation took place from 7-9 Saturday evening and again from 2-4 and 7-9 on Sunday, with prayers at 8 p.m. Sunday, at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. A funeral mass was held on Tuesday, November 24 at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolennars officiated. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or to the Tri-County Site of the VON.
