Passed peacefully away on November 23, 2015 at his home in Bay Roberts (formerly of Milltown, Bay d'Espoir) at 83 years of age. Predeceased by sister Iris Bishop. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 56 years Enid (Stick); daughters Lorraine (David Richards), Palm Harbor, Florida and Bernice, Fort Walton Beach, Florida; grandsons Jason and Brian Richards; sister Eileen (St. John's); brother Edward (Frances), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; sister-in-law Hilda Morrow (Grand Falls); and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Moore's Funeral Home, Water Street, Bay Roberts on Thursday, November 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Family funeral service at Moore's Funeral Home on Friday, November 27 at 11 am. Inurnment to follow at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Coley's Point. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be given to a charity of your choice.
