The family of Winston Blaise MacDonald would like to express our sincere Thanks and Heartfelt Appreciation for the genuine kindness, Love and Support we received from Relatives, Friends, Neighbours and Colleagues during our time of unbearable sorrow at the loss of our precious son, Blaise. Thank you to those who telephoned, e-mailed, visited, brought food, sent flowers and cards, made memorial donations and monetary gifts. Your kindness and generosity will always be remembered. A special Thank You to Dr. Brake, Dr. McCarville, Dr. O’Brien, Dr. Paul MacDonald and the emergency room and intensive care unit nurses and staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their professional and loving care, sincere Thanks to Sheri’s co-workers at the CBRH pharmacy. We truly appreciated your kindness. A very Special thank you to all of Blaise’s friends and co-workers with the maintenance department and all the staff of the shops at the Mayflower Mall, your kindness and support will always be remembered . Please know Blaise loved and cherished your friendship. Many thanks to the staff of Donkin Gowerie Complex. Thank you to Rev. Bob Biggar for many visits to our family following the loss of our son and the wonderful service and words of comfort to honour the celebration of Blaise’s life. Thank you to Thelma Murray for the heartfelt and touching eulogy and to organist Alice MacLeod for the Beautiful Music.
Finally we would like to acknowledge and say thank you to the staff at Patten Funeral Home for their compassion, professionalism and exceptional service during our time of sorrow and loss.
Our loss has been incredibly sad for those who knew and loved Blaise, our family has found great comfort in knowing that he was respected and loved by so many.
