LÉGER, EMERIE
1952 - 2015
Emerie Léger, 63, of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital on Thursday, November 26, 2015. He was married to Lila (Babineau) Léger. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Fred and the late Dora (Melanson) Léger.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Lila, his two daughters; Mireille Léger (Tommy LeBlanc) of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, Josée Jalbert (Luc) of Shediac Bridge, one granddaughter Véronique and the mother of his daughters, Denise (Jaillet) Léger of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, two step-daughters; Shana Brennan (Colin) of Boston, Mandy Dunn (Kevin Ward) Shediac Cape, one step-son Jommac Dunn (Lacey) of London, ON. He also leaves to mourn two sisters; Andréa Breau (Edward) of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, Géraldine Saulnier of Bouctouche and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Thérèse, Rita and two brothers, Léo and Joseph.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 7 to 9 and Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Jean Baptiste Church, Bouctouche on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
