Burgoyne, Edwin Louis
E. Louis Burgoyne of Newmarket, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on November 26, 2015. Louis was born in 1943 at Newmarket, NB, the son of the late Leonard and Muriel (Chessie) Burgoyne.
Louis worked as a lineman with NB Power until a hunting accident forced his retirement. Louis was a social person with lots of friends and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Amy McFadgen (Josh), Newmarket, NB, Michele Kaden, Jenni Lynn Turcotte and Vicki Cybulski, all of Pembrooke, ON; a special daughter, Sachelle (Muffin) Fidler, Mazerolle Settlement, NB; grandchildren, Emma, Katie, Daniel and Nate; a sister, Leona Murphy (Robert), Fredericton, NB and a brother, Alton Burgoyne (Lyn), Pembrooke, ON; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Winnie Hyslop.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 3 pm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Newmarket, NB with Father Godwin Kalu officiating. Interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
