TONER, LEONE ANNABELLE
With deep sadness, we announce the death of our dear Mom Leone Annabelle Toner of Mispec. Leone passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Bobby’s Hospice. She is the wife of the late Glendon Earl Toner and a daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy Moore.
Mom enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, working on her flower garden, feeding the birds and spending time with her very special sheltie dog “Lady”. Her grandkids and great grandkids will miss their treats and their very special Nanny Toner. When the grandkids visited with her, the board games came out and then the competition was on.
She will be dearly missed by all who loved her, including her children Dorothy Mowbray (Dunk Worden) of Public Landing, Lawrence “Bo” Toner (Faye) of Mispec, Diane Eastwood (Bob) of Belleisle Creek, Kathy Toner (Tom Wry) of Sussex and Susan Ougler and family of Saint John; brothers Ronald Moore (Marilyn) and Clifford Moore (Bertha) of Mispec; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband Glendon, Leone was predeceased by her brothers David, Joey, Charles and Malcolm and sisters Jenny Crandall and Edna Stanley.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to her extra mural nurses, doctors, Ann Marie French and the staff of Bobby’s Hospice for the most excellent care given to mom.
The family will receive visitors Monday from 2 to 8 pm at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm followed by the interment in Mispec Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Leone can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
