Ethel Seymour

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Seymour announces her passing on Thursday November 26th, at Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Center at the age of 88 years. Ethel was predeceased by husband Lorie, mother and father George Strickland and Marjorie Strickland and stepmother Katherine Strickland, sons Albert, Lorenzo and Eric, brothers Lloyd Strickland, Jack Strickland, brother-in-law Willard Payne and son-in-law Randy Muzzi. She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of precious memories her children Wilfred (Vera) Seymour of Isle Aux Morts, NL, Marjorie (Garfield) Dominie of Isle aux Morts, NL, Maxwell (Winnie) Seymour of Burlington, ON, Millie (Gordon) Seymour of Halifax, NS, George Seymour of Isle aux Morts, NL, Catherine (Lyndon) Seymour of Sydney, NS, Ethel (Glen) Durdle of Halifax, NS, Lorne (Janice) Seymour of Kitchener, ON, Vivian (Jerry) Musseau of Port aux Basques, NL, Arlene (Matt) Scott, Judy (Clayton) Daudelin, all of Welland, ON, Craig Seymour of Halifax, NS, Wendy Seymour of Mississauga, ON, and Elton (Wanda) Seymour of Halifax, NS, brother Bob (Annie) Strickland of Prince George, BC, sister Pheobe Payne of Port aux Basques, NL, aunt Pearl Martin of Sydney, NS, sister-in-law Julia Strickland of Isle aux Morts, NL, a total of 29 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many many friends. Visitation will took on Saturday November 28th and Sunday November 29th at the Holy Spirit Anglican Church, Isle aux Morts. The funeral service was held on Monday November 30th, 2 p.m. with Rev. Maryrose Colburne officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road.
